a mile from here until I was 5. I remembered nothing but fields around this house all the way up into the 90's. I'm glad the city worked out a deal to keep this historic house and a little bit of land around it.

This is the new fire station, the older Fire Station #54 was located on Ventura Boulevard at the since-demolished overpass of the 101 Freeway between Arneill Road and Lewis Road, aka, Somis Road, aka, Highway 34.

Newer fire station, the old fire station #50 was also on the Cam Air grounds, but was in a more secluded location as well as was becoming more in need of replacement.

This was a nice hotel with comfortable rooms, I really have nothing bad to say. I loved being so close to the outlet mall, I found some great deals.

Mission Oaks is actually the name of a large housing tract, now an area of town, in the town of Camarillo. It was built in the 1980s-1990s, so the houses are newer than the older, 40s-70s sections of Camarillo. It has a few schools and some parks and like the rest of Camarillo, is an extremely peaceful and safe place to live.
